phonix programmer

I've just received a phonix programmer, i don't know which cable should i use to coonected to my computer, there is serial and parallel on the programmer and advise will be appreciated, also is it possible that i can clone sim card with this programmer

Phoenix (softwares) works with SERIAL cable

and YES if it is PHOENIX ? it should work with simcards

But I have never seen a phoenix with parallel connection...?
make sure is it phoenix or does it support phoenix programs..?

did it come with software....what kind of soft....

what I know (not so much but) parallel is good for AVR/Funcards & prepaid public phone cards

well yeah my programmer is for all type of cards, it's a phoniex/fun card programmer. i've attached a pictuer so u can see what i'm talking about. it's also came with those program:

i've tried and download NagraEdit 3.0 : and iget this message when i do read card:
Opening of COM1 was successful
ATR String: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM1 was successful

plus the green led doesn't work.

Looks Good

1.Nagraedit is for NAGRAVISION smart cards (like rom 10) it doesn't work for other cards.
2.with parallel connection use FUNPROG to read write fun cards
3.for sim cards reading (cloaning) use phoenix / serial with Cardinal / Sim_scan V2 / (I hope it will work)
