I can browse the web fine, use IM+, check emails, etc etc - everything works fine. But this doris browser is really annoying. When it loads a page, it asks me if its ok to make a bluetooth connection for every single image on the page and each time I browse another page.
Is this really neccessary. I've tried everything and there doesn't seem to be a way to keep a constant connection. No other web related programs do that. I've not tried other browsers however. Should doris browser be doing this? Its version 1.17.

Just tried latest trial version from their website (1.18) and it does the same thing. Every page and every image I get the following:
Connection to server needed. Connect to "Bluetooth"?
Its a nokia 7650 btw...

What connections do u have?, is it data or gprs?. Try checking to ur connection setting, and be sure to set up the default APN. If u can connect to internet via wap or messenger then Doris would work fine too. And, turn off ur bluetooth!.

Both me and my mate have been using doris since the first cracked version appeared, since then between us we have used almost all of the versions as they have came out and neither of us have heard of this. I am using a 3650 and he is using a 7650. Are you sure you haven't changed something in your settings?

I'm using a bluetooth connection (GRPS) and mRouter that comes with the data suite. I tried some other browser and none of them constantly ask to make a connection. IM+, WirelessIRC, Emails, and some other stuff works fine - never asks for a connection. This doris browser however won't load any pages or graphics without asking first.
I took off the 'prompt for connection' setting, at least it doesn't ask me to pick a connection anymore - but it always asks if its ok to make the connection. I wondered if its a setting somewhere else in the phone, but just can't seem to find anything that would cause it.
Its a shame, cos I really like the way doris works (browsing and choosing links seems better than other mobile browsers), plus its extremely small so it doesn't eat up valuable phone memory :).
I can put up with it, it's just annoying. heh
