Hi, I'm currently signed up with Cingular right now and have a Nokia 3395. My aunt is signed up with T-Mobile and has a Motorola t720i. The thing is, my aunt doesnt use her phone at all, she pays 40 a month and shes so out of touch with technology that no one knows her number and she doesnt know how to use her phone. Shes had it for a while too. The only reason she has this phone and the service is because of spite of my other aunt, which is stupid I think. So I have no problems taking the phone off her hands and replacing my Nokia 3395 with the Motorola t720i. Anyways, since the phone is locked to T-Mobile, is there a way I can just ask Cingular to unlock it for me, saying like my aunt gave me this phone because she cancelled her plan or something? Or is there something else I should know if I wanna switch? Thanks to anyone that can help me, any help is greatly appretiated.
