SIM card removal on a Nokia 5165

Hey, I am going to be inheriting my dads old cell phone, a Nokia 5165. A phone, that to bulky for me. I would like to stick the SIM card into a different phone...but I can't seem to locate the SIM card. I know it should be behind a little plastic piece behind the battery...but I don't see it there. You remove the battery, and there's nothing. If someone knows what I'm talking about, and how to remove the SIM card, please respond.

The Nokia 5165 is a TDMA IS-136 phone, not a GSM.

It's activated OTA so it doesn't need a SIM card.

Hasn't even got a SIM slot.
