my 256mb card is not identified by my the phone (firm 3.16), althoug i formatted it several times, there are always memory errors. iam sure the card is okay.
is there a trick to activate the card ? do i need a newer firmware (is there a newer ?).

The 3650 doesn't support the 256mb card yet, I don't think, even with the newer firmware.
Just use the 128mb you greedy git.
I heard (in this forum) that nokia 3650 supports 512mb mmc with firmware. You must search the forum to find this topic.

i thought the same thing also, but someone corrected me and told me that cards of size up to 128mb are supported. You can use higher capacity cards, but you might encounter problems. Some cards will work fine, others won't work at all, others will be full of eroors and soforth. Cards up to 128mb will work fine with no problems.
