i've tried to change my menu name to start but i really like to change the name menu to current time coz the clock in windows is in the right, also change logo to windows xp. i just cant find the current %time variable% place holder so i can transfer it to the name menu on standby. i tried to analyze the text chunk & found out something trough experimentation:

\x0A carriage return
\x01 blink

others dont know yet if anybody knows what this is?

%U & others

please nokDOC or any body else where is the %current time variable% so i can transfer it to any place using ppmmanager and hideclock. it will a big help to me and to others reading this thread

Hi, maybe this helps?

This %n things, like U can see a lot in the ppm is not same as \01 \0A.
Those were real byte, ppm manager shows them that way because mostly windows can't display them for the user.

The %i, %N, %S stuff, those are variables that are given along once the mcu starts the procedure to display a certain string.

This variable will then be pasted to the string and the result U will see on display.

"HighScore: %i" wil give "HighScore: 0" on my phone

U have nice ideas already for it, but I guess changing in ppm wouldn't give the results U like.

If U want to display such 'variables' at other loc's U have to know how mcu procedures calls for strings. (WinArm)

Sounds hard to me, but I heard of a guy who has built a sort of call timer to his 5110 that way.
