Been trying to dig up where we once read how the IMEI is written (encoded) in the Flash/eeprom files.

Believe its written in 2 locations, 1 being PLAIN ASCII and the Other being...... EOR with a Hex $65?????? or something

Anyone know or recall how the other hex bytes are encoded and or the typical address offset for either the 51/61 or 82 series files.

Thanks Phonedudes

I bet U read it here:

http://nokiafree.org

About XOR, it is a bitwised math function U can find on a better calculator or in many programming languages.

Of course were going nuts searching HI and LOW through all the threads and its on the MAIN NOKIA FREE.ORG PAGE!!! Boy dont we feel silly now!
Meant XOR, brain wanted one key, fingers hit another..

Appears since last time we looked there have been some updates... Possibly In the past few weeks or month, anyplace on the forum that posts when updates are made to that page???

Thanks

P.S. Also it mentions getting source (however Who do we ask for CURRENT source code??) Isnt the actual version of the program NFREE 1.3 prototype now??
