HI, I HAVE A BRAND NEW 6800 FROM USA, IVE BEEN TOLD ITS ON A 1900MHZ OR SOMETHING SO IT WONT WORK IN UK?

IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN MAKE IT WORK OVER HERE E.G FLASH THE PHONE WITH UK FIRMWARE OR SOMETHING?

IF SO WHERE CAN I GET THE SOFTWARE FROM AND IS IT HARD?

IM NEW TO THIS SO IF IM DREAMING AND THERES NO CHANCE OF IT WORKING OVER HERE JUST SAY!!

Firstly, please DON'T SHOUT! :)

Short answer - it will not work over here and there's nothing you can do about it.

You need the 900/1800 MHz version over here, but you probably know that now :) The hardware is different, so it's not a case of updating the firmware, but more of puting a complete new pcb in it....

thanks for your help Yes, that's exactly it - capitals are considered as "shouting" in emails as well (I wish my manager would learn that one!)
