help on 8290

i have a nokia 8290... from voicestream USA... calculated d dct3 unlocking on dis device and ond carrier.. but how come that, i cant push or enter d # sign.. imean d # sign of the last digit... it cant be entered.. could somebody explain me this.. tnx...

8290 is a DCT3 phone if I remember so you will need the Rolis software and your datacable (from the downloads section) to unlock..I think you are using a DCT4 unlocking software

yeah, im using d dct4 unlocking process.. u mean, it is a dct3 version and i need a cable to unlock it? is there any other way to unlock it? i mean electronically... tnx again..

You cannot calc codes for DCT-3! But your service provider from which the phone came from has a code for it! Contact them and they will tell you the code! They may charge though!?;)
