Hi!
I just successfully got my 8210 converted to a 8250. However, there is no Chinese input. I used flash file v. 6.04 and ppm K.
I know there have already some posts about this topic, but none of them have helped.
Is it the wrong flash file or what? Pls help me!

If you need, I can read out a full backup.
My phone can only write Hanzi, when in Simplified Chinese.
You must choose the PPM pack, where you see T9 for Chinese.
T9 usually means dictionary, but for Chinese it means if you can write or if you cannot write.
So if you live in People's Republic, you would choose the pack that has Simp.Chinese + T9. If you live in HK or the Taiwan province, choose the pack that has Trad.Chinese + T9.
If you need, I can give you my 8250 fullbackup latest version 6.02
I also includes Malaysian and English.
I also have 8210 Chinese+German+English custom language pack where you can write Hanzi.

Thanks for your help!
To HONGXING: I have already solved Chinese input. I flashed with language pack K and now it has pinyin input. I tried to add German T9 from 8210, but no success. Can you help me with that?

I sent you my original Flash files from Nokia site in WinTesla format.
It consists of MCU 6.04 and PPM-K 6.04
The flash files are currently on my 8250 and working perfectly with Pinyin input for simplified Chinese.
Using Rolis Flasher you can flash it to the phone directly, no need for converting.
