An idiot problem but need help anyway!!

Maybe its an absurd question but i dont know where to note my friends birthday to make my 3650 remind me later. In the contact list for every contact there exist a birthday detail (like email adress) but it doesn't have remind function (no message or alarm tone when that day comes). And in Calendar there is no selection as "Birthday". There is only "meeting","memo","anniversary" selections. Do everyone use anniversary to note birthdays ???

The calendar that comes with the series 60 is shite. Download handyreminder from my yahoo group. There are other alarm type apps but I have had problems with some of them (i blame remind me for my first mmc corrupting and stools can only save 4 alarms).

i use "anniversary" in calendar.

I tried bug me but it kept on randomly removing my reminders. It really pissed me off.
