My phone is always in silent mode, that's the way I am :).

Anyway, I decided to use the voice tags feature on the phone, it does save some time if you're in a hurry :), but I really don't like the fact it plays a little jingle. The way I would approach it would be to:

Find this Jingle
Change all the notces to Vibrator notes. (I think this would be possible, could someone remind me of the hex value?)

However, it isn't in the "ringtones" section of say PPMEdit demo, so I have no idea how to look for it...anyone give me a starting point please? :)

The target is my modified (unreleased) 3410 5.30 FLS (PPM B).

Cheers

Just a short answer for now.
Voicetag tone data is in the MCU, not PPM.

For 3410 v5.30 the voicetag tone data is at address 4A8B70 (2A8B70 in the flashfile). I was going to post what you need to change it to, but I forgot to add the checksums and am currently fixing the contact service that I induced

Jeep and I have been talking a lot on ICQ about this...

Right, it seems that modifying that address (Which does translate to the annoying jingle) did absolutely nothing.

Weird :)

I completely removed the jingle code...but it still plays, very scary :)

Any ideas?
