Hi,

I stumbled across the forum by accident but had a little read at what you guys can do and thought I'd give it a try on my graveyard of old mobiles.

I had my doubts but managed to unlock my 8310i first time so will give this to my mum now to replace her 5110 (yes she still uses one of them!)

I tried unlocking my 6310i too but it didn't work, so i tried again, triple checked all the numbers and still no joy. Think i've tried 4 times now so want to get some advice before trying again.

The phone is on Orange UK and here are the details I entered:

IMEI: 449337202732702
MCC+MNC: 23433

This generated:
#pw+922052546022651+1#
#pw+982312406025316+2#
#pw+447567160567467+3#
#pw+149004664752504+4#
#pw+943552461147757+5#
#pw+729400440716103+6#
#pw+007563426527662+7#

I have tried code #7 and also #1, I'm defintely putting it in correctly because I did it ok for my 8310i.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

sorry, but 449337/20/ is no 6310i, it's 6210 NPE-3

there is no calculation possible, just use free software like eeprom tools 3.1 or rolis tools 1.8/1.9

These codes are correct for the IMEI and net provider you have given.... Code 7 should do the trick first time....
personally as a uk phone user i always use code 5 on my phones. Code 5 for me has unlocked 1-6310i 8-8310's 3-7210's 2-7250's and so on....................

This is dodgy if you only have 1 try left.
All i can advised is that you use a m/bus cable and download Bwinlock from the software section of n-free.......
you need to then send the configuration key to GSM COMMUNITY who will supply the network code and calc a code for you......

other than that you can only give code five a go......

WOW i can't believe what an idiot I've been. You're absolutely right it is a 6210 not 6310. What can I say, it's 3a.m. in UK and my brain must be shutting down making me get all confused with my nokia model number memory.

Thanks for the replies guys and sorry for being such an idiot.

Keep up the good work.
