Need help upgrading my 3310

Hi all, thanks for the help in trying to unlock the 3310, but I finally gave up and paid to get it done.

The version I have is 4.06. I have seen it can be upgraded or changed to a 3315 but have no idea how to do it.......I work with plants for heaven's sake!!!!!!

I was given a cable that connects to my phone via the LPT port......is that any use?

Sorry for seeming a bit of a technical idiot but I really could do with being walked through this without me killing the phone.

Hi,

Get another cable too, a data cable, with a com port connector.

With the lpt flasher cable U can insert the 3315 upgrade data. (flashing mcu & ppm)
With the data cable U can unlock or adjust faid and the extra 3315 menu options after upgrading.

Theres some instructions HERE (http://www.cubwolf.btinternet.co.uk/tips.htm) but you will nead a data cable as well as your flash cable.
If you ever need to unlock a 3310 etc use eeprom tools which you will find on my site as well.
