About Operator Logos Pls Help

hey i've managed to work out how to upload operator logos, the only problem is when i upload them they dont seem to go transparent to the wallpaper, what i mean is that the logo is shown it has a white or green background and it shows on the wallpaper.
Is there a way i can make the logo merge on the wallpaper so u dont see the background of the logo.

please help.
