error during flash editing

hi,ages ago i used 2 customize ma own flashes,but now,wen i try 2 use ppmedit,flsedt,ppmeditor,or ne thing dat edits bitmaps etc i get this runtime error when tryin 2 save the file

ne idea y?

i don't understand.

you used customized flashes, but ppmedit etc give you runtime error?

do you have needed .dll/ocx installed?

"used" as in i customized flashes ages ago for my self,i have all the needed files because wen it asked 4 them i put them in ma system dir,i dunno whether if its the actual .fls files,or the runtime files im using,by the way,im usign mcu+ppm only,NOT eeprom,will dat make a difference or not??

got the flashes from freegsm.biz to edit.

Hi,
I had the same trouble of ppmedit not being able to open my modded flash. dont know what proggie you got in the pic though?

The way I solved it was to open my flash with ppmmaker and save the ppm. then get a clean mcu of same version and join them (Fix Checksum!). then you can open in ppmedit to start editing again.

I get the exact same problem!
When I edited some butmaps and try to save!
I get the same! I haven't a clue about mcu or ppm or pmm!
Can some one give me a detailed descripiton and how you get a new clean mcu? Also how do you join? An what are checksums?
Any help would be brilliant!
