Newbie Flasher Question

I have a 3310 and a data cable. From what I have read so far, I understand that this is different to a flasher cable. does anybody have, or can anybody point me in the right direction of where to find, a schematic/vero board design of the flasher.

Also, does anyone know of, or can they please explain the wiring inside the 3310 adaptor/craddle. What I want to do is cut the cable and make a connector to go from 'data cable' to 'flasher cable'. The reason for this is that I cannot find these 3310 adaptors/craddles here in Australia and therefore am looking for other ways around it. If anyone has any other ideas/suggestions/info on where to get the adaptors/etc please let me know.
