Phone Secure Lock Out

Nokia 3650/7650 seem to have a problem. In my 3650 after uninstalling the "WildSkinz", the phone stuck and i couldn't write anything but numbers. I also couldn't get into phone setting to change the language. This happened to a friend's 7650 too.

If you have the same problem, please write here so that we can find a way to solve it.

I got tat 2 sometime ago. No matter how u try u can only key in numbers. Sorry...don know how to resolve tat...wat I did was Nokia care.;)

The easiest solution is, turn off ur wildskinz from the app's setting and/or uninstall it. U must turn it off first b4 uninstalling or u got ur phone screwed up.

that also happened to my phone before it crashed down to the fading logo. try upgrading to new firmware.

Hi friends!

I have had that prob some time ago. Wildskinz makes that prob when unistalling. We can say that is a big pice of shit.

The way it can be solved is intalling one of the different app that allows u to manage ur files in the mobile phone such as seleQ and deleate the system.ini of the phone placed in the c drive.

REstart the phone and a new system.ini will be created. You may loose some aplication keys, but the key prob will be solved.

Maybe that's why u should turn off / disable ur Wildskinz first before uninstalling it, because the app still running in background. You'll screwed up ur phone if u try uninstalling an app that still running.

so i was playing about with my phone yesterday, and it crashed, as you do. anyway, i had phone secure installed on my phone, and for some reason, when it crashed phone secure went off locking me damn phone, high pitched siren and all. however, the problem started when it would not stop, even after several messages sent to unlock it with conformation. thats when i panicked.
But the program is not so great as it sounds, as the siren can easily be turned off by ringing the phone or a text message, cancelling the sound out. anyway, i found a way of disabling the program so the phone can be used again. im not going to post how i did it due to the thieving bastards out there that might take advantage. but it is possible.
actually i have no idea why im posting this, i suppose just to say, becareful with phone secure. its a bit tempremental. :-?

also while im here, has anybody cracked that damn AVEC radio yet? while theres still free GPRS.

that's correct, you should turn off wildskins before uninstalling it. if you already done this. try installing the wildskins again, then restart your phone. then turn it off, then uninstall it. then make sure you restart the phone.
NOTE: IT IS BETTER TO RESTART THE PHONE WHEN INSTALLING AND UNISTALLING A PROGRAM. THIS WAY, YOU WILL BE SURE THAT ALL THE REGISTRY IN YOUR PHONE WILL BE UPDATED.
