alright heres the deal...i turn off my phone...and while plugged in to charge, i noticed sometimes that after the nokia thing goes away and then there is only the battery charging bars at the top, a little icon would flash at the top, and at the bottom it said Options and Cancel ... i thought that was odd...it would usually go away though. Well i would normally try to press one of the buttons for options/cancel but it didnt do anything. This time, I hit the app button and smartlauncher loads...when the phones *supposed to be* off (ya know..holding the power button till it turns off...)... i went to the thing where it shows all thats running, and it has a little puzzle piece icon running, with the title "???" (no quotes)...only taking 40kb memory too...i can always get into launcher whenever my phone is charging...i cant get into normal phone functions though (aka making a call and whatnot, and it says no signal...) is this supposed to be like that??!?

-edit- I went to close the ??? app and it asked

Close Application?

This is one of the best reason to use SLauncher! When u powerdown the phone...instead of shuting down it totally, it puts ur phones to 'sleep mode' or 'standby mode'.

Sleep mode - u will just see the power bar, options and cancel.
Standby mode - Lets u access ur phone menu and all its apps. However, u phone is still in 'switch off' mode' so no one can call u.

I do this all the time...when I will off my phone and charge it and continue to use my apps when I don want to receive any calls.

Surely u can divert all ur calls but this is useful when u want to be alone and still use ur apps.

Cheers~

I suppose that could have it's uses. Cheers for the explanation.
