intermittent irda connection

it seems problems i am having connecting my 8310 to logomanager r down to an intermittant irda:-(

nokia pc suite manages to make a connection to the phone but keeps losing it....anyone got any sugestions ..plz................
windows keeps waring connection lost ... somtime it comes back in just a second or to somtimes not..

btw my gf 8210 works just fine over i rda so iknow its not the pc end
