I am a programmer at Kettering and i was wondering how to decompile the .sis files for installing on the phones so i can look at and edit the code, then recompile for testing/running on the phone? I find the best way to learn to write new stuff for a dif language is to see written code, learn to manipulate it, so then i can write my own from scratch...basically i would like to know:
1. Program(s) needed to decompile on a Win XP machine
2. Choice editor(s) for looking at/manipulating code, eventually writing own
3. Compilers for the code (i have some from the nokia developer forums, but i cant figure out where to begin for writing any code for it, let alone how to compile anything with it, so if you could tell me specificly which programs to use...i just downloaded every one from the site i could and installed it)
BTW- is that how most of these programs are cracked?
