Its a T68i. I even reflashed the phone with new flash file but did not help.

Does this work on the T610? I just got a data cvable from eBay and I don't want to fuck my phone! If it all goes pear shaped will I be fucked?

it does...but not with data cable...but with terminator dongle - the one from Zulea...

using the china termiantor dongle (USD10.00 only), plus the cracked DIV8.2 (shareware again), the problem of the T610 can be fixed

No It not possible as it has no option to unlock T600
