Yep, quite clear this time: I quit...

My personal dream bout nFree is a bit damaged.

I had a fun time when we was started with some 350 members.

I got aggressive when we reached about 30.000.

Sorry, but I not seem to be made for this.

Moderating was never my intention or ambition.

It was the contribution I thought I could offer the community back then.

I have always liked doing it, and hope most of U also appreciated it too.

But from here, I have to hand over the daily tasks I did to our new generation of moderators.

And wish Mr. Alinus and Mr. Man0n good luck with the continuation of the forum.

Ps, I always will be a member here.

It is besides gFree still the only forum I know.

Therefore U won't miss me.

Talk about a bombshell! Sadly I have to agree with NokDoc! There are too many non active members wasting the resources on this board! The DCT-4 Unlock forum is a perfect example!

NokDoc, you will be forever remembered as "The" Super Moderator, but I'm glad to hear that you'll still be an active member! Your knowledge and expertise is invaluable!

I understand NokDoc's position, I'm of course glad that he is sticking around, I find it a shame that he has had to leave moderating. Maybe if we closed the dct4 code forum things could be easier on new mods.

Hi,

1st of all a wellmeant excuse for being a bit untactical.

I shouldn't have announced this the way I did.

I had my reasons, though not want to tell or have U to speculate about them.

But let's say since the amount of time it took, it became quite frustrating to me.

Last days I sure got aware of the impact I had at this forum with my name.

Both while I was moderator, and with this anouncement.

Therefore I will withdraw a bit on my decission.

I will make a compromise to Mr. Man0n, to stay at least till christmas.

After then, I expect we have a good new team of super moderators and a nice forum, like we were always used to.

To come back as a full time member and guest and focus again on the things I actually liked about my Nokia.

Like modding, reversing and eating bytes with U.

I hope this is sufficient info to U for the time being...

Again my apologies for all this confusion.

Anyway, U won't miss me.

Since I wouldn't wanna miss U too.

the fact that you're staying with us as a member can only be welcomed!

You did a great job as a moderator, but you're probably right when you say that you can do a better job as a contributor.

Besides, at least we've got you til christmas and by then there hopefully will be a host of new moderators (all of them basically replacing you).

While i'm very new to this forum i certainly understand your position, i have moderated several boards, one of them was tons of fun while we had a few thousand members, once we got passed th 70k mark it was nothing but constant work and insanely repetetive to moderate.

Much appreciated all of the info you've posted though, in the faq's etc.... helped me out a lot!!!
