i couldn't find the phone's page at nokia's site...not even in the phones archive..

are you sure this is the model number?

well, i can't be sure about anything until i get to see the specifications, but i know that the first phone to support the ringtones downloading option was the 3210 model, so if your model is very old like you said, and probably released before 3210, i would say that you can't download ringtones to it.

edit: same idea, different words.

6110 was before 3210.(ringtones)
do you mean 2110?

sure you can change ringtones to it, but i think nobody knows about a flash cable for those 2110, 2010, 1611 etc phones. and they have very small memory, so maybe you can only change to some max 5 seconds ringtones.

I am sure go to htttp://www.nokiahowto.com and select 1200 series. I live in Barbados and our cell phone company cable and wireless were selling these phones cheap so that they could flood the market to avoid competition from AT&T before they set up operations here. I didn't buy the phone it was given to me. The other nokia phones which are being given away free on the net cost $800 BDS here (equivalent to $400 USD).

All I want to do is download tones from the net free instead of going to cable and wireless because they would charge me an arm and a leg.
