Has anyone seen problems with the 3510 phones
i have seen 3 different problems with them
They keep turning off ( could be a battery)
keys on the keyoad stop working
If turned off will keep coming up with insert sim

Has anyone seen these problems and probably more to the point does anyone know of any solutions for them.

Regards

Hi.
I had the same problems with my new PAYG 3510i purchased just over 2 months ago.
The shop I bought it from said it needs to be looked at.

I took the phone to a Nokia Service Centre, they decided the power resetting was due to a defective BLC-2 Lithium Ion battery so they replaced it FOC. I requested a Software Upgrade, but the latest version is V 04.01 which it has got. (Enter *#0000# to find out)

During WAP use it stopped communicating and informed me "Warning Phone Restricted" "Enter Code" To get it to work again I had to power off and on again.

After some time of putting up with this I swopped the SIM Card with my wife's one. Bingo ! It works properly with hers. I contacted the service provider "Customer Service" they said I could have a new SIM Card but would have to pay for it !!! What a swizz !!

I shall be changing to another service provider.

Hope this is of use to you?
