Game Download 'File Format Unknown'

Hello

I have a Nokia 3510i and am on the Virgin Network
I recently tried downloading Splinter Cell and received a message in the Service Inbox, it said Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
so i selected it and then selected 'Retrieve'
It was connecting, when suddenly it said 'File Format Unknown' then returns to the main menu.

is this due to Virgin?
or is it the phone?

Please help.

It is more likely to be Virgin, however, one cannot be sure unless you try with another SIM card. If you dont have problems with any other games it may be the game itself, either being incompatible, or the file might even be missing on the server.
