help!

hi im a new user here and wanted to ask all the nokia lovers here what does it mean by the phone getting locked and how do i come to know about that?
secondly,i want to ask that since i am living in india and using HUTCH cellular operator and connecting using GPRS,how and from where can i gwet snake(i love that game!!!!!!!!!)

first, welcome to nokiafree :)

second, the phone does not "become" locked, it is locked when you buy it from the operator. not all operators in the world lock their phones, but 99% do.
when a phone is locked to a network/operator/provider (whatever you want to call it) you can use only this operator's simcard, if you insert a simcard of different network the phone will not accept to work with it, and ask for restriction code, this code will remove the restriction and make your phone work with any simcard.

about the snake game..have you tried nokia site? this game is made by nokia, and if you can't find it there i don't think you'll find it anywhere.

hey thanks for your reply but the problem with the snake game still remains as i am living in india and nokia club does not support users from nokia to join the club and download the goodies.so if you could suggest me a wap site so that i could log on and get my favourite game SNAKEII!!!!
