hi there i recently unlocked my nokia 6590
thanks to your site
when i switched to a different networjk ( from att wireless to digicel)
the signal from digicel was very weak muck weaker than the other digicel phones
please help what can i do

you can insert the new simcard -> the phone is not locked.
you get signal, and able to make calls -> the phone is not barred.
do you have another 6590 phone in the same network that you can compare the signal with?

yes i have compared the signal with another 6590 and its the same results
do u think an antenna booster can work
or can i use a code or something to help
someone said the phone may still be searching the old network

as much as i know, antenna boosters don't help very much, but they may help you..about a code, there is no code that increases the signal strength..
and what do you mean "the phone is searching for the old network"? the phone will try to find its home network (the simcards network), and if it can't find it - it will connect to another network if it has access to (roaming).
bottom line: a weak signal is not good, but if it doesn't disconnect your calls, and you can stay connected - leave it as it is, or ask your service provider about it.
