Now I got myself that great game, but as soon as I get it started I hear those cracking noises in the background...just a bug or what is it?

i think it is a bug... but u can overcome it by running the game, then press the symbian button to go to the menu, follow up by going into the game again. the noises would have stopped. but after play a few times, the noise will stop for good.
