Hi, I am using LM2940 instead of the other type regulator, you think I will encounter any prbs?As long as it's the 5V version, there should be no problems - it has a better spec. (lower voltage dropout and higher output current capability) Bear in mind that it's a bigger device than the 78L05 which may give you problems from a practical point of view.

Where are you using this? I'm only asking so you can say something about Nokia's and get this back on topic ;)
