is there anyway of converting quicktime .mov format to rm or 3gp

i havent visited this site for a couple of months, and still i see the same questions.
maybe somebody should write and sticky a tutorial for this

To convert to rm you will need this software:
Helix Producer Plus 9 and get it registered.

And to convert to 3gp:
Nokia Converter free from Nokia.

You can check this movie (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/3650swordfishmovie_vault) that is in 3gp and compare with a movie that i'll be posting next week in rm format.

yeah i know that i have both programs you can use noia converter 1 aswell which converts them into nim files but i wanted to know if you can convert quicktime mov files cos on helix it only does the sound on my computer

You can use bink video by rad video tools (just search the net, can't remember the download link) to convert .mov video files to .avi. It's a very simple but effective tool to use. I think you can download it for free, although, I'm not completely sure, just check it out. Hope this helps.

All you need is to install Quicktime (latest version available) and that should solve your problem...

Hi ppl,
One question from me. i got few mpeg movie clip, but when i transfer it to my phone using Nokia suite, it become .3gp file but it not
FULL SCREEN, i can anyone let me know how could i enlarge it b4 i transfer to my phone? May be something to do with the resolution?

You need an application called PVPlayer. This can play videos in full screen. Download it on my group

To start creating movies for your phone with Helix Producer Plus 9, go to the 3650 Movie Making Vault (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/3650movie-making_vault) and download the file available.
Also, tutorials are there to help you convert the movies.

I couldn't find the converter program on the Nokia USA site, so here it is from the Taiwan site. This DOES NOT REQUIRE Real Producer or any of that. It does MOV -> 3gp, MPG -> 3gp, AVI -> 3gp and about everything else you can think of .... and it's free.
