8210 says contact service, How can i fix it.

I tried flashing my 8210 with a v5.31 i got from a web site but when i switch it on now i get a Contact Serice message. Is there a way of fixing this.

i not sure you have do this or not,
do you culc the faid,
do you do a unlock using nokiatools after you flash it to your phone.

..BUT FIRST, if you can connect to your phone with your data-cable, start Eeprom Tools 3.1, hit the spy glass, then click on the chip button to repair imei (or manual if the imei isn't visible, then repair), and last set the factory settings to default.

The datacable i am using is going through thr LTP port of my PC so i cant get eeprom tools to work. Most of the nokia tols i tried to try and fix this issue wouldnt let me connect to the LTP port.

I guess you have never flashed before :D.

No problem, but you'll need to now the difference between a flasher cable (LPT) and a datacable (COMx).

- You can flash your phone with the flasher cable :rolleyes:
- You can only fix the phone after a flash with a datacable.

If you use the Dejan flasher set, you can buy an addon cable (COM port cable, datacable) which lets you use the dejan connectors on that addon cable.
