View Full Version : Is it possible for Nokia 9210i to support MMS ?

I'm so interested in that service but I have been told that it is impossible for N9210i to support MMS.

In spite of that , I'm somehow optimistic .



Theoritically, I think it is possible for N9210i to show the MMS picture, in the inneer screen at least because it is coloured ... all what we need is the software which is able to make showing,sending and receiving MMS pictures possible.


What do you think ?

The sending and recieveing of mms pictures requires gprs support, which the 92xx does not have. So ure probably correct that in theory you could get an application to display the mms picture? but how would you get the mms picture in the fone in the first place.

It is really unfair for a powerful mobile phone like N9210 not to be able to display MMS pictures while it is possible for those mobiles which are limited-options and abilites.

I know I agree with you. The 92XX is a wasted opportunity from nokias point of view. It could have been SO much better. But instead Nokia seems to have limited support for technologies. But in fairness I think MMS was JUST starting to appear when the commy was released, so personally I can forgive this. What I have difficulty in forgiving is the small amount of ram!!!!!! and the serial interface!!!! The nokia music phone (cant remember the model number) has USB interface!!!!! WTF!!! And no bluetooth support....

And the commy a business fone does not :-x
