I don't have a cable. Can you do it over the internet or through someone elses phone ?

If you can, I'd appriciate it if you can send the attached JPG and Midi (attached as a TXT file. Change extention to MID) files to my phone.

It's a Nokia 6800. Phone number is: 214-578-0297 (USA)

Thanks,
zoti

zoti, if you just put the files you want somewhere on the net (a free web server perhaps, there are plenty out there) then just use your WAP to go to the file directly...

in other words, in your 6800 go to Services -> Go To Address and type in the entire address with the file name. It will then ask you if you want to save it and there ya go! Hope this helps

I would love to do that but in order for me to access websites I need to have mMode on my plan (AT&T).
Is there a way to use wap without it ? All I want to do is load one graphic and one ringtone.

Hello there :)

I guess without WAP or GPRS you are lost here... even when someone want to send it to your phone as an MMS, you still need GPRS to receive it!
Try if you can get WAP activated from your network provider, and if so, i have uploaded both your files to my website (hope you don't mind that!).... have a look at

http://thanhwap.tripod.com

which is a WEBsite! It is to be browsed with the computer, not WAP :) But all content there (Wallpapers, ringtones) can be downloaded via WAP for totally free.
You can direct-download your two files (i renamed the Logo, which is actually a wallpaper) here:

http://thanhwap.tripod.com/gallery/tbox.jpg (the picture)
http://thanhwap.tripod.com/tones/itchyandscratchy.mid (the ringtone)

I hope this was of help in some way.......
Kind regards...
Thanh

Thanks,

I have tried to activate mMode (GPRS on AT&T) and was on the phone with the technical support for more than an hour. For some reason it doesn't work. I hope they fix it soon.
