Help losing it 7250i

Please can some one help me ?

I have a Toshiba Sateilite 5200 801 laptop and have been on and of for the last week trying with out any luck to connect using IR my 7250i phone to use Nokia pc Suite.

Unable to link phone to Ir port running XP what am I doing wrong ?
