Hi All,

The Nokia Connection Mgr appears in the system tray every time I boot up my system (Win2k). Does anyone know how to NOT have this happen?

The two things that I've done:
1) End the Process for "ncltray.exe" in the Windows Task Manager.
2) Disconnect my DLR-3P connection cable from the Com port (Com2).

I don't wish to do either of these. If anyone knows a way in which I can avoid the 2 items above, please respond.

Thanks in advance...
Nadine

Note: I installed Nokia PC Suite 4.4. I have a Nokia 6360 phone.

Well.. If this program runs at startup.. u gotta get rid of it.. !

how??

Well, here's the procedure :

1- Hit Start->Run.
2- Type "msconfig" in the textbox.
3- Press "OK" or Enter.
4- Click the "Startup" tab, you'll find a list of programs witch run at startup.. Huge list, ain't it !
5- Now, all you have to do is finding ur program in that list ( Usually the EXE file name :"ncltray.exe" ) remove the tick in front of it.. Hit "OK".. U'll be asked to restart, u can do if u want..

( I have WIN ME, I'm not sure if this procedure gonna work.. But, U gotta try it! )

Hope that helps !

win2k is either running it in startup, if it's not there then you'll have to stop it under the services

It's not in Startup and I have checked Services many times and it's not there - it's not one of the Automatic services, nor Manual.

Is there a registry key that I need to alter?

Thanks for your help.
