Hello developers,

I just thought , is there a way to make use of the Nokia 7650 cable port
as a connector for external memory. This should look like how external
camera's were added to some Nokia Phones (same as T68i).

This may prolong the useability of the powerful N7650 whose downside
is it's 4MB memory.

Well the debug interface never was meant for adding external RAM, the amount of RAM is probably fixed into the firmware anyway..
So, no..

Thanks Wumpus. That was very enlightening at least I on my part
can cross the idea out already.

As for M547, I was expecting an answer on a much higher level. I was
shooting an idea and your throwing lousy replies but thanks just the same.

Instead of using the cable port you could probably replace the RAM IC.. but the firmware problem still remains.

And maybe you should ask a moderator to move this to the "DCT4 developers" forum. (when you made this thread those weren't seperated yet)

Point well taken. Anyway, going back to the explanation of wufus and
the suggestion of MG547 I think it's best to just upgrade to N6600.

Thanks again.
