Instead of copying the message storage manually from your device into your PC, you can store them into your PC by using SMS Journal.

Install the exe-file in the attachment in your PC.

yes..but that only backs it up to the PC .. how about editing SMS on PC for nokia 9210.. that IS the REAL DEAL !!!

As fas I know you cannot, the sms messages are stored in a single file and not seperate files.
