Requirements For Nokia 3510i Polyphonic Ringtones...

can anyone please just give me some help here to get polyphonic ringtones working on my nokia 3510i, i keep asking and no one bothers to help... i'm new to this... so come on.. just help a newbie plz

I'm still not sure about the size, don't know if it's 32kB or 34kB. Maximum midi channel number is 4.

It looks as though you have answered your own question?

I have a 3510i and Oxygen Phone Manager II, also Oxygen Ringtone Workshop.
I have managed to get a Midi file (Tatu "running through my head" of 10.268K into my phone. So the max' size is roughly 10k, I tried 12k but would not accept it.

Channel max of 4 is what I found.

I hope that settles your mind?

I've been able to cram a 26kb file up my 3510i, so I don't think there's a size limitation. The only limitation seems to be the number of channels. Have any more than four and the phone will refuse to open the MIDI file.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, although Nokia 3510i is touted as "polyphonic", I believe it can play only four notes at one time. All other notes get cut off...

Hi, I can upload files any size (with MobileMB) but the max size my phone plays is 15kb, when the MIDIfile is >15kb phone "Unable to open file".
