just curious...

is there a way of having 2 sim cards running in a phone at the same time or how does it work?

i've heard of something along these lines happening but never been to worried, now i've got 2 sim cards and now i wanna know... haha...

Sure, dual sim backs to phones, very common with 3310s but there are many for other Nokias.

Different types as well, I'm not particularly sure of the exact details, but you can switch between them generally by switching on/off your phone.

And they cost ~ £15 upwards I think :).

But isn't there a sim card where you can put 8 sim cards on one and then you have 8 numbers running in one go without the need to turn on and off again ?

no that is a sim card where u have 8 numbers on 1 simcard ( i think)
