I have a 3310 that was water damaged! I have cleaned it using my method, phone now works 99.9%! When I am on a call, the person on the other end cannot here me! On closer inspection, I can be heard but very faintly! I have changed the Power block (With Mic), changed the Mic twice, have ensured that contacts on PCB are fine, have used my WD method again, and have flashed it with known working firmware! Still the problem persists! I have used the search function, and it was suggested that I should re-heat the Audio IC!? Should I? Where is it? Any help on this matter is much appreciated!

Someone correct me if I am wrong but the mic connects to the 'cobba' (N100)

SO I think this is the IC to which you refer,

Cobba is the one with the red splodge

Cannot seem to upload the layout but it's written on the chip and its in the bottom section on the top right hand side.

Ok, so should I re-heat it? Any other suggestions? This seems to be only a small fault as the mic works, just really low!
