Note these are RAR files, rename them from .rar.zip to .rar and extract using WinRAR 3.

3410_530-IOTF-Bobl.txt:

File: 3410_530-IOTF-Bobl.fls
Date: 17th of September 2003

Note: This file is just an MCU, flash it as normal, if
your phone isn't already deadfaided, set the faid with
your favourite tool. Your phone must already be a 3410
5.30, since having a different PPM version will muck up
the phone.

Make sure you take a backup first!

Special thanks to Jeep for this particular IOTF, while
my original release of the 8210 IOTF was never released
as a demo, the 3410 invert on the fly is special:

The 3410 is dct3, but g3gg0 didn't included patching
routines for the 3410 in g3nolite, so Jeep very kindly
found the screen function for me, so I was able to
invert the 3410 on the fly.

Another thank you for this release is NokDoc, thank you
for telling me where the the RAM init table is in the 3410!

Original text from the 8210 IOTF text file:

Note: G3gg0 has already done this on the 8210, in Modz,
but I want to point out from that start, I haven't even
opened Modz in winarm, I coded this by myself. However,
I will point out it was inspired by the Modz...

I took a different approach and used an input, I prefer
this to using a menu, *#inv# = *#468#

Simply enough, simply turn on the phone, I have it
inverted, type in *#468#, that's it, instantly inverts
the screen to normal. Type it in again reverses it again.

Took a few hours to get my head round ARM, but for my
first function (Actually I had to do two), I was very
happy with it.

I'd really like to thank:

G3gg0 - For being an inspiration for this Mod, and
someone who showed us all anything is possible.
NokDoc - For being the crazy person he is :)
Jeep - For reminding me that R0 and R1 are different registers..
Mik - For never being on ICQ, but he's there in spirit, I guess :)

And thanks for being a shoulder to cry on guys :)

Work 100%

Crux2002,

Try comparing the modded file and original flash with a hexeditor.

5 meg? It's less than 4*500kb!

You can download it in a reasonably small amount of time, it's in nice packages of 500 kb for easy downloading.

And if someone else posted a file, you'd have to download that one.

OK, I downloaded it...and its only the 3410 bios. Are you going to make a 3310 version?? Im too dumb to make it myself ;)

I would if I had a 3310, but after I released this, the following happened:

1) Krisha released his own 3310 mod, with quick invert.
2) G3n0lite v2 came out, which I think has IOTF :)

So to be honest, you can either use the above options, or use my 3410 MCU as a guide...

Like I said, I don't have a 3310, with the above options, I see no point in doing it :) .

I got G3n0lite v2 doesnt seem to support IOTF

Where can I download Krisha mod?

Wait, I think G3n0lite v2 does support it through its script thing. Lemme try...

It seems with Krishas mod, you dont do the *#INV#, you press * and another key

@Crux2002 - http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2F64.246.26.121%2Fforum%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D59763&langpair=de%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8

@bobl:

I got my inverting on the fly working with geneolite v2 and Krishas script, but I dont really like it. You have to press * and a number to make it work (it even works while the keypad is locked). I would rather have a *#INV# system. You ever think of writing a script for geneolite v2??

thanks. i had already found it.

@OuTsIdEr

Yeh, I've considered writing a g3 script for it; I _may_ do it sometime, but I think a script means I have to look at all the flashes, seems like an awful lot of work really :(.

I'm building a computer for a mate, while trying to work on my own new mod...so it's getting a little on top of me, timewise.

I'll look into it towards the end of the week...but no promisies on whether or not a script is rsled.

Thanx for concidering it. I changed my IOTF to * and 3. So its harder for the inverting to take place by mistake. But I would rather have a *#INV#.

Hi, i am interested in this *#xxxx# approach and was wondering in you could enlighten us on how to implement custom ones into our flashes? Thanx
