Looks like your install log is corrupted. Unfortunately there is no way of *fixing* it apart from a format. The corrupted install.log does cause errors when installing/uninstalling applications.

The unknown ERROR that shows up after the installation of any application is because the programme is trying to update the install.log and cannt for some reason

I think the only thing that you can do to fix this to either restore a backup if you have made one, or to format the commy, and start again.

If it is a backup that you created before the trouble occured, open your PC Suite. Press 'Archieve Manager' and then 'Restrore Last'. Done.

But after restoring the backup files the problem is still the same, you may format your device.

I attach a file that contains how to format your commi written by Sektor_1.

Hmm.. It seems to me that I cannot attach any file or maybe coz the file is 610kb.

Don't worry, you still can open James Sektor_1 Bond's old thread in this link (http://nokiafree.org/forums/t39707/s.html).

If all kind of file in the attachment should get approvement from the moderator, I'm sure he will be very busy.

I agree not to attach warez (what is warez? Assume it is illegal file), but not all kind of attachments. If someone want to attach an important stuff like 'the procedure to format commi' file, he will get difficulty. Actually, we can send to someone via an email, but will we always send it to the other ones who ask for the same thing (eg. 'how to format commi' file)? I myself do not have time to do that.

And, the most important thing is that this forum will not be interesting anymore and they will go to YahooGroups, other sites, or ftp created by our friend in the forum.

If the moderator said that we cannot attach any file in anypost without his permission, I have a positive suggestion to the moderator (Sorry, I do not know in what forum section I should put this):

1. Give us the meaning of 'warez' clearly so everyone will not break the rule.
2. Allow us to attach a file/s without getting moderator's permission.
3. Bann the poster who attached warez and got the warning from the moderator three or four times.

I think it is fair for all of us.

The definition of warez according to me (I am no authority on warez btw) is

A term used to describe a cracked game or application that is made available to people who have not legitamely payed for the software.

So according to me this does not include keygens or serial numbers. But lets wait and see what Alinus has to say on the definition of warez with regards to nokiafree.

u can use google to learn what warez means.

and yes. it includes keygen or serial numbers.

u can put links to that kind of stuff here. but u are not allowed to upload them.

and about people that are searching for those things leaving...no problem, we don't need users that by their actions can danger the existence of this forum.
