View Full Version : OPMII Killing phones?

Has anyone heard of Oxygen Phone Manager killing a phone? I have a 6100 and I was using OPM via Infrared and the phone died, wouldnt power on at all. The battery was full, even tried a different battery. I had to get a new handset and don't want OPM to do the same with this one.

Right, that's it! I'm reeeeeeeally pi**ed off now, I am NEVER using Oxygen again!
It's just bloody killed my second 6100!!!

bah i tried that once i just flashed and it worked fine agian but any how dont bleme Oxy you use programs like that at your own risk

Fair point, but unfortunately I don't have any flasher hardware, so i'm just gonna steer clear of OPM from now on!

this happened 2 me a couple of weeks back with my 7210. i was uploading a backup file which i made with OPM2 and it just killed my phone . wouldnt switch on or anythin. i was most annoyed. had 2 send it off 2 nokia. only jus got it back yesterday

does any 1 know if there is any reason y this is happenin? or a way it can be avoided.?

opm 2.1.5 killed also my nokia 5100. and i had to send my phone to service. they loaded the firmware again and it works. but i never used again with opm my phone so it doesnt crash :)
