hi m8s tried 3 mcu+ppm flashes and all work up to a point.can make and recieve calls but ive no ringtones.the phone locks up when i go into settings-tones-ringing tones.using flashtone it says the ringtones are type 01-36.

tried uploading one with logomanager,it uploaded but its still locked up.
i flashed 3330 with 3350 version 5.15 ppm b put 3410 lcd on unlocked and updated faid with eeprom tools and everything works apart from the tones.have i forgot to do something?

Try killing the checksums\faid with Nfader or G3nolite! The 3350 is known to cause strange problems if this is not done!

cheers m8,tried killing faid/checksums with nfader then flashed phone and got a little further.now have 1 ringtone(nokia tune)i was wondering if starting with a 3330 i should then read the phone first as a 3350 then flash it or do i choose 3330 as phone and flash 3350 anyway.i am using rolis for this.im not quitting till ive done it.(been at it best part of a week already!)

Get a FUBU from here: www.handy-flashpage.tk flash to your phone, and use the Knok95 Unlocking guide found here: http://nokiafree.org/forums/t31337/s.html all should be well! Set the phone as a 3350!

hi m8 still no joy,no matter what i do i end up with nokia tune and any attempt to change it results in locked up phone.i have flashed modded 3330's 3310/3315's to this phone without a problem but im beginning to think this 3350 upgrade is beyond me or my programmes.rolis wont accept the ppm,wrong size, so i combined the mcu+ppm flashed with rolis and knok same result.
how big should a mcu+ppm be? i have 2.43mb mcu and 768kb ppm or would it be worth trying to find a 4mb file and sort the imei out.

Did you try the FUBU? That is a full backup, including eeprom, so you do not need to combine anything! They are also tested! Try again!?

got it! been having a few probs with rolis so wiped whole flash with knok and used this.all working 100%.
thanks for all your help.got all the progs down for some modding as id like to do a xmas flash but at my rate of learning it wont be this xmas.
