How can i repair a nokia 5165 with no signal

I had an 8265 with the same problem but with mine what happened is i plugged in a car antenna and the car antenna ripped out the phone antenna so it only worked if the car antenna was plugged in holding my phone antenna with it. But what i recommend is go on ebay and buy another 5165 that works with your phone company (very important, if you have AT&T buy a AT&T phone) because to fix the problem it will cost you around $10-30 and on ebay the whole phone costs $5 and new costs around $30 and all you do is call you phone company and tell them you are switching a phone and give them you ESN munber and they switch it over to your other phone in seconds.
