How to diagnose ??????

Hi

Can anyone please give me tips on how to determine when a set needs to be flashed specially nokias dct3/4 phones. what are the symptoms??

Also when does a set need unlocking what are its symptooms.

You can easy diagnose the software with Eeprom tools 4.0 /it also gives and some hardware tests/ to find out that phone is locked You can read it with nokia tool by rolis /4 bars in the down left corner must be "OPEN"/
For DCT4 I haven seen a test software which is free...The original Nokia soft for them is Phoeniks /I hope I write it correct?!/ but its not free

for Nokia Dct3 U must use EEPROM tools. U just have to click on Test buttom it'll display the result of dsp research and tell U if the problem is Hardware or Software.
For DCT4 I dont know if some have an idea I'll hapy to know to.

For DCt4 you can use latest version of Griffin sw since it performs the "Self-tests" and displays the phone's condition ( i think it's same as Phoenix but i'm not sure)
