How many codes have you tried? Are you sure the phone is locked - tried another SIM? You sure its currently locked to 02 UK? Confirm IMEI number by typing *#06# into phone...

I think it is....4 times ive tried....its when i put a sim card into it, it says sim registration failed, no matter what sim card i put into it!!

'Sim card registration failed' usually means that the phone has been blacklisted by the networks because it has been reported lost or stolen... or for non payment of a bill or long peroid of no use (of the SIM)

If the phone is indeed barred, then in a short - no, not really... changing the IMEI would help, but thats illegal...

Someone else might have some more info for you
