ive done a full flash of my 8210 and now have contact service, Eeprom tools gives the message below, can anyne help?

Reason for contact service

MCU Eeprom interface test failed
Eeprom tune checksum test failed
PPM validity test failed

Please repair

Try updating faid and setting a imei number

If that doesnt work, try flashing your backup back to the phone to see if you get the same error then... if your phone works fine then you could try a different flash file.

I didnt do a back up.

I done a partial flash to unkock it, but wrote from 0200000 by mistake, then i done a full flash 0200000 with a flash downloaded from the net now i get the message mentioned above.

cant set faid knok says "no flash checksum stored" when i rty to check and fix checksum or IMEI knok says "CMD_handelcommands : cannot analyze phone

Use a GOOD working EEPROM!!!

Here it is
Flash it at 3D0000

Then change IMEI with Knok or EEPROM tools.

flashed it but eEprom tools still wont read phone comes up with "cant read the PPM version.

You need to flash a FULL back up to the phone from 00200000 – 00400000.

Do you know anyone with an 8210 that would let you take a back up of their phone?

This will include their IMEI number, once flashed you can change this with Eeprom tools etc.

You will then be able to upgrade the MCU & PPM to the version you want.

I think this is the only way to sort it…..Unless someone else knows better.

Without any doubt!!!!!!

Try it and post results.

Remember FULL flash and correct IMEI and UPDATE FAID with Jordik 3.21 or Knok or EEPROMS tools3.1

You could also full flash the 8210 with an 8210 full flash that would also work 1000000%
