Changing sms tone in hex editor!

Hiya peeps,

Nokiaport.de have a great site and part of it says about changin the sms tone in hex editor - ive found the values in hview but dont really know about the tunes and dtuff - can anyone publish a sms tone theyve made???

Hi!
I discovered somthing strange when changing the sms tones...

I did to a 5130, 6150, 6210 and a 3330.
The changed sms tones work well but i get a really weak receiving signal (similar to the 6210->6250 upgrade problem).
But all the checksum seem to be intact.
If I make the changes undone everything works fine again.

Does anybody know what the cause is?

you can change sms tone using flashtone easyly ,so why do it using hex editer.

I never got flashtone to work properly. I never found any sms tone nor any ringtone. I tried several flash files...
Maybe u can send me an example version with an working flashfile (any)?
